MARK KING | CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Mark has collected 27 years of Aerospace industry experience with Rolls-Royce plc. He held positions as President Aerospace, President Civil Aerospace and President IAE International Aero Engines. Since 2013, he is on the Boards of several technology driven Private Equity and Venture Capital owned businesses. Mark is currently serving as Chairman of the Bowman Power Group as well as for AVS-SYS Ltd, and he is a Director of Open Energi. Mark is holding a Degree in Mathematics from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
ramsay ravenel | partner in eastern sun capital
Ramsay is a Partner in Eastern Sun Capital, the private investment arm of Jeremy Grantham, co-founder of asset management firm GMO (Boston). Ramsay is also Executive Director of the Grantham Foundation, where he oversees grant-making and endowment management. He previously led solar energy investing at MissionPoint Capital Partners, an alternative energy private equity fund, and originated investments in EcoSecurities and SunEdison at Marshall Street Management, a family office. Ramsay has also worked in timberland investment, conservation finance and began his career with a community forestry project in Indonesian Borneo. He holds Master's degrees in Forestry and Business Administration from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College.
KEVIN SKILLERN | partner in energy innovation capital
Kevin’s more than 20-year career has focused on investing and strategy development in the global energy industry. He led GE’s program investing in emerging technology companies in the Energy industry from 2005 through 2013 and led a joint $300 million fund with ConocoPhillips and NRG Energy. Kevin’s prior career focused on the O&G sector, including key roles in about 15 private equity and debt investments, and 9 years as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. Kevin has an MBA from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
richard riggs | Investment Professional at Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures
Richard is part of the European team at Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, the corporate venture capital subsidiary of the Saudi Arabian national oil company, investing in technology companies throughout the energy value chain. Previously Richard was investment manager at BASF Venture Capital, the corporate venture capital subsidiary of the global chemicals company BASF. Prior to investing Richard spent several years in a variety of R&D roles within both BASF and Ciba. Richard has masters and doctorate degrees in chemistry from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
